For more than 40 years, Mormak Equipment. has been helping quarry and mine owners meet their targets with the most durable, functional and powerful aggregate equipment in western Canada.

After working in the aggregate equipment industry as a mechanic, service manager and salesman, Bob Mohr founded Mormak Equipment so he could give customers turn-key and custom fabricated machinery built to last as well as post-sales service that’s second to none.

Mormak Equipment. opened in 1980 in Vernon, BC, ideally located near Kamloops and halfway between Vancouver and Calgary. Over the years, Mormak developed a reputation as an international industry leader for our expertise in designing and manufacturing customized aggregate equipment, including mobile jaw plants, cone plants, screening plants, wash plants, surge bins, feeders and power vans.

Today our plants can be found on sites across North America and around the world, including the Arctic, Panama, Chile and the Caribbean. In 2004, we were awarded a $3.5 million contract to design and manufacture a crushing spread for Glencairn Gold Corporation’s gold mine in Costa Rica.

It took 12 semis to haul the 145,000 pounds of steel from Vernon to the Vancouver shipyards. One of our crew’s proudest moments was erecting and then standing in front of the plant with the Costa Rican mine crew as the gears turned and the conveyor belt ran for the first time.

In addition to our expertise in fabricating new and reconditioned plants, we also pride ourselves on distributing only the most high quality, high performing aggregate parts for crushing, screening, washing and recycling.
